Want to Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator for Free in 2024?

You want to use LinkedIn Sales Navigator for free. Maybe you’re just starting out, or you’re unsure if it’s worth it to begin with, given the $99.99 monthly fee.
Trust us; we get it.
There are a few ways to work around this that will still allow you to export contact information so you can grow your business on your terms.
How? Let’s dive right into it.
Get Sales Navigator Free with These Two Methods
This is fairly simple, but please read through to the end so you understand how to get the most out of Sales Navigator.
Both involve leveraging LinkedIn’s offer of a free trial of Sales Navigator. By claiming this offer, you’ll be able to use many of Navigator’s key features. We should note that there are some limitations, but we’ll go into more detail about that below.

Method 1 – Claim your free trial and use it for 30 days
Click this link to visit the Sales Navigator page and claim your free trial (we’ll focus on Sales Navigator Core throughout this article).
You will need a LinkedIn account, and your eligibility for the trial will be determined only once you’ve logged in.
Keep in mind that you won’t be able to claim the free trial if you’re currently on a LinkedIn paid subscription plan or if you’ve claimed any free trial offers within the past 365 days. Don’t worry if you’re ineligible – just skip down to method two.
Please note that to sign up for the free trial, LinkedIn does require a credit card, as most free trial subscriptions do. Thankfully, you can cancel at any time, and you’ll be reminded seven days before your free trial ends.
We’ll go over the process of exporting contact information after the second method.
Method 2 – Use different email addresses
If you’re ineligible because you’re on a paid subscription or have recently claimed your free trial, don’t worry.
You just need to create a new account. For this, you need a new email address and a different credit card. Otherwise, LinkedIn will pick up on using the same card across multiple accounts.
The key is to create the account and then use it lightly for at least a week. Creating the account and trying to jump right into the free trial will be flagged as suspicious activity.
Once you claim the free trial using the link in the first method, you don’t want to run too many searches at once. Otherwise, LinkedIn might pick up on this, just like the commercial search limit.
We highly recommend starting your searches small, say with only 100 contacts at first. Then you can ramp up to 1000 over the course of about a week. We don’t have specific numbers nailed down, and LinkedIn won’t publish this kind of information. So, feel free to adjust as you see fit. As long as you don’t push too far, you should be alright.
Limits to Keep in Mind
As mentioned earlier, you’ll have limited access to Sales Navigator. You won’t be able to use some features like saved searches and lead account list creation (for account-based marketing).
Once you’ve exported enough contacts to build and grow your business, we recommend investing in Sales Navigator. Of course, it always depends on your business goals. But, you get a lot for your money and we still think it’s worth the price.
In the meantime, let’s learn how to easily export contact information directly from LinkedIn searches.

Easily Export Lead Contact Information with Your Free Sales Navigator Trial
The best way to extract contact information is with an app called Wiza. Creating an account in Wiza is free; you just need a valid email address. Here’s how it works:
- Once you’ve created your account, you can install the Wiza extension.
- Log in to your LinkedIn Sales Navigator account.
- Run your search in Sales Navigator.
- Select the contacts you’d like to export into Wiza. Remember to start small if you have a new LinkedIn account, as mentioned above. If you have an established account, you can check off the “Select all” button at the top of the list.
- Click the purple “Export leads with Wiza” button in the top right corner.
- The next screen will allow you to choose what level of data enrichment you want. With the “No Email” option, you can simply export the leads. With “Partial Data,” you get the email address plus 21 firmographics. Or, with “Full Data,” you get email and phone numbers, and a little bit more. Once you decide which option is right for you, click the “Select >” button in the appropriate column.
- Next, you can name the list as you see fit, such as “Sales Directors in NYC” as well as choose which folder to add your list to, and how many contacts you’d like to scrape. To skip duplicates, check the “Skip duplicates” box below “Number of contacts to scrape.” Then click “Next >”.
- On the Wiza subscription plan page, you can either choose the plan that’s right for you, or take advantage of your FREE trial export of up to 100 contacts. To use the free trial export, click “Launch for free”
- Before launching the scan, you’ll be greeted with a confirmation screen that shows all of the details of your pending scan, including how long it will take to finish. To proceed, click “Start scan now >”
- You’ll see a notification that “Wiza is working on it”
- Once complete, you can export your list to your CRM or to a CSV for easy reference.
And just like that, you have a list of contact information. Now, you can prospect on your own terms, build your business, and grow your revenue! See it in action below!
